2nd Summer School – Best Practices in Phlebology

Dear distinguished Colleagues and friends

We are pleased to invite you to 2nd Summer School ‘Best Practices in Phlebology’, to be held on 8 and 9 September 2017, at AKS Porto Heli, Argolida, Greece.

The aim of our Society is to provide continuous education to doctors treating venous disorders. This is mainly achieved by the successful Congresses that bring the latest scientific information to the participants through lectures and workshops.

This year we have the honor to collaborate with the French Phlebological Society (SFP) as well as with distinguished guests from other countries. France has an old tradition in sclerotherapy and this is a great opportunity for the Greek doctors to watch our expert French colleagues demonstrating this in patients or models.

The latest information on current DVT treatment and endovascular and open repair of deep veins will be also presented by guests from Italy and Spain and Greek experts.

Porto Heli is famous for its beaches, night life and the nearby island of Spetses. The dates of the School coincide with the celebration of ‘Armata’ in Spetses where the famous burning of a ship takes place, in remembrance of the battle against the Turkish navy.

We hope that the participants will enjoy the high scientific presentations and a relaxing week end.

On behalf of the Organizers,

Vasdekis Spyridon, MD, PhD, DIC
Professor of Vascular Surgery,
University of Athens, Athens, Greece
President of the Congress
