Guidelines for Presenting Authors & Poster Authors

We would like to remind you that for each abstract the Registration Fee for at least one of the authors must be paid.
Pre-Registration is mandatory the latest by September 10th 2021 in order your paper to be included in the proceedings and make all necessary arrangements for your participation in-person or on line.

Oral (on-site attendance)

Each oral presentation should not exceed 12 minutes. It will be followed by 3 minutes of discussion. You are kindly requested to deliver your presentation file (ppt/pptx/pdf) to the technical support personnel at least two (2) hours before the beginning of the Session (in order to ensure on time they run smoothly and to be able of making any possible changes). If the presentation is scheduled early in the morning, you are kindly requested to check your presentation with the technical support personnel the day before.

*To the attention of Mac users: Please make sure to come with the suitable adapter and to also have a backup PPT for PC. You are kindly requested to meet with the technical support personnel at least three (3) hours before the beginning of the session, in order to assure compatibility (or backup solutions).

COMECAP2021 will abide by all applicable regulations. Find all the relevant information HERE

Oral (on-line attendance)

There will be a “hybrid” recorded/live approach regarding the oral presentation of on-line participants. The presentation should be pre-recorded by the presenting authors. See the instructions for recording the presentation in Powerpoint HERE. (The authors are free to use any software that will produce an mp4 or a mov file as an end-product). The pre-recorded presentation, which should not exceed the 12-minutes limit, will be broadcasted on-site and on-line. Please make sure that the sound of your presentation is properly heard and that the sound level is consistent. It is important to send your recorded presentation by 15/09/2021 in order for it to be presented according to the scientific program.

e-Posters

Due to the hybrid format of the conference and the safety protocol that must be followed on-site (forbidding printed material), all authors should prepare an e-poster that will be displayed on the conference website (and can be accessed anytime from any device) as well as on-site on 55’’ monitors with full HD resolution (1920x1080) pixels and a widescreen ratio of 16:9.

The e-poster should consist of 1 PowerPoint slide (ppt/pptx format only) with a 16:9 ratio and should conform to a landscape orientation. The recommended font sizes for a proper on-screen visualization of the e-poster are:

Title of the slide ≥ 24pt
Authors ≥ 12pt
Affiliations ≥ 9pt
Main text & figure/table captions ≥ 6pt
References ≥ 4pt

  • To facilitate the timely upload of the posters on the platform and on the conference website, it is important to send your e-poster via email (korina@conferre.gr) by 15/09/2021.
  • The screens will be connected to PCs and will have all posters available for presentation, so all conference participants can view any poster anytime during the conference.
  • During the Poster Sessions, the screens will act as poster-boards projecting the poster presentations of on-site participants for the specific session. Authors attending on-site should therefore be available by the screens to discuss their research.
